
The governorship election in Benue State has been declared inconclusive after the margin between the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress was less than the cancelled votes.
The results were announced by different Collation Officers for the local government areas in Makurdi.
Gov Samuel Ortom of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) won 410, 576 votes while the APC scored 329, 022.
The cancelled votes were about 121,000 which was more than the margin of victory for Samuel Ortom which was about 81,000.
