A Federal House of Representatives member recently elected to represent Kura, Madobi and Garun Mallam constituency in Kano State, Garba Muhammad Butalawa is dead.
Garba, who contested in the February 23 elections on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) died over the weekend at Prime Clinic in Kano after a protracted illness.
Confirming Garba’s demise, the Secretary of the APC in Kano State, Mr. Bashir Sati said although the lawmaker had been sick for a while, the news of his passing away was received with shock.
