South Energyx Nigeria, the developers of Eko Atlantic City in Lagos  says the immediate past governor of the state, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode does not own a skyscraper in the new high brow district.

In a statement issued on Monday, South Energyx Nigeria said the allegations made in an advertorial titled ‘Ambode’s Many Sins Against Lagosians (Part 1)’ were completely untrue.

“We would like to clarify that this report is completely false as Ambode has no ownership or links to any skyscrapers in Eko Atlantic City.

“We can also confirm that we were never contacted to confirm the claims before the article was published,” the statement read in part.

There have been several allegations that Ambode diverted some of the state’s resources while he was governor to purchase  choice property in the Eko Atlantic City.
