
The United Kingdom Commercial and Arbitration Court has granted the Nigerian government leave to appeal against the judgment permitting Process and industrial Development Limited (P&ID) to seize $9.6 billion worth of Nigerian assets.
The legal team is currently arguing the case for the stay of the execution of the judgement of a British court following infractions connected to a failed gas contract.
The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Justice Abubakar Malami, who is the leader of the Nigerian legal team to London confirmed the development to newsmen on Thursday.
