The Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr Abba Kyari, has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus, COVID-19.
Reports indicate that President Muhammadu Buhari was also tested for the COVID-19 virus by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday. His test however proved negative.
The NCDC was said to have briefed President Buhari on the outcome of the test on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Abba Kyari had visited Germany a few weeks ago accompanied by other Nigerian officials.
