President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday met with Nigeria’s security chiefs in Abuja.
The meeting had in attendance the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (Rtd.)
Also in attendance were the Minister of Defence, Retired Major General Bashir Magashi, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama.
Service Chiefs present were the Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin, Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar and the Chief of Naval Staff, Ibok Ekwe Ibas.
Inspector General of Police, Mr Mohammed Adamu and Director General of the Department of State Services Mr Yusuf Bichi were also in attendance.
