Nigeria has recorded its lowest single-day number of cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in four months.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed in a tweet on Sunday night where it claimed that 138 more infections were reported in the last 24 hours.

The latest figures bring the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 53,865.
41,513 have successfully been treated and recovered while 1,013 have died due to complications from the virus.
