The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye this Monday paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The visit came in the heat of the controversy generated by the President’s assent to the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020.
Prominent Christian leaders from across Nigeria, The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) have all criticized a provision in the act which tends to vest supervisory powers over the Boards of Trustees of religious organizations including churches on external authorities.
Special Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, announced the visit via his twitter handle.
