Hoodlums this Thursday launched another attack on peaceful #ENDSARS protesters demonstrating at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Alausa, Ikeja.
The thugs were armed with cutlasses and knives as they chased the protesters.
Protesters calling for the scrapping of SARS have protested on roads and highways across Nigeria since October 8, 2020.
Even though the government has scrapped SARS (Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police) and named a replacement in SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics), the protesters have remained on the streets, saying they want police officers who recently killed young Nigerians, arrested and tried.
The #EndSARS protesters in Alausa were attacked by thugs yesterday but they overpowered and repelled them.
The thugs came back on this morning and attacked the protesters as they were converging for the day’s protest.
