A Russian state hospital on Wednesday said that a toxicology test it carried out on unspecified biomaterial taken from jailed opposition politician, Alexei Navalny did not find traces of poison in his system.
According to the Interfax news agency, Navalny who was jailed for 30 days last week for urging people to take part in an unauthorized opposition protest was hospitalized on Sunday after being allegedly poisoned.
Although he was discharged from the hospital on Monday morning, his lawyer and personal doctor however said they suspect that he may have been poisoned.
