The Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday ordered the remand of the convener of RevolutionNow protest, Mr. Omoyele Sowore and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
In the ruling, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu said the accused persons are to be kept in DSS custody until Friday, the adjourned date for the hearing of their bail application.
Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) and Bakare were arraigned on seven counts of treasonable felony and other sundry offences. They pleaded not guilty to the counts when they were read to them.
