The number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Nigeria has jumped to 51.
This was disclosed via the twitter handle of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
According to the NCDC, three of the newly confirmed cases are returning travellers while two are close contacts to a confirmed case.

The latest breakdown shows that Lagos has 32 cases, FCT 10, Ogun 3, Ekiti 1, Oyo 1, Edo 1, Bauchi 1, Osun 1, and Rivers 1.
Forty-eight of the 51 cases are currently active, 2 have been discharged as they are now negative, and one death has been recorded.
