Nigeria has recorded 197 new COVID-19 cases, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The latest figures were disclosed by the NCDC via its official twitter handle on Thursday night.

Nigeria has tested over 430,000 for the virus since the country reported its index case on February 28.
Nigeria is the third most impacted country in the African region by the virus.
Over 1.3 million infections and more than 31,000 deaths have been recorded in Africa.
