The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Godwin Obaseki winner of the 2020 Edo State governorship election which held on Saturday, September 19.
The PDP candidate polled a total of 307,955 votes to defeat the APC candidate who won a total of 223,619.
Obaseki won the majority of votes cast in 15 local government areas while Pastor Osaze Ize-Iyamu of the APC won the majority of votes in 5 local government areas.
