Chelsea Football Club ended their five-match winless run in the Premier League with a 3-1 triumph over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge on Monday. Goals from Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Cucurella, and Noni Madueke propelled the Blues back into the top four of the league standings.

The home side dominated the early proceedings, with Cole Palmer narrowly missing the target before forcing a save from Wolves’ goalkeeper, José Sá. The breakthrough came in the 24th minute when Reece James’ deflected shot found Tosin, who calmly slotted home. The goal was initially ruled offside but was awarded after a VAR review.

Despite Chelsea’s control, Wolves equalized in first-half stoppage time. A mishandled corner by Chelsea’s goalkeeper, Robert Sánchez, allowed Matt Doherty to capitalize and level the score.

In the second half, Chelsea regained their lead in the 60th minute. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall flicked on a cross from Madueke, enabling an unmarked Cucurella to control and finish effectively. Five minutes later, Madueke added a third, sealing the victory for the Blues.

This win propels Chelsea to fourth place in the Premier League, overtaking Newcastle United and Manchester City. Wolverhampton Wanderers remain 17th, hovering just above the relegation zone on goal difference.
