The All Progressives Congress has fixed N100 million as the cost of its presidential nomination and expression of interest forms ahead of the 2027 general elections, while governorship aspirants are to pay N50 million.
According to the party’s timetable signed by its National Organising Secretary, Sulaimon Arugungu, the presidential form consists of N30 million for expression of interest and N70 million for nomination. Governorship aspirants will pay N10 million and N40 million respectively.
The party also set fees for other positions, with senatorial aspirants to pay N20 million, House of Representatives hopefuls N10 million, and State House of Assembly aspirants N5 million.
The schedule indicates that sale of forms will run from April 25 to May 2, 2026, while submission of completed forms is slated for May 4. Primary elections are expected to hold between May 16 and May 22, 2026.
The APC said the timetable aligns with constitutional provisions, the Electoral Act, and the schedule of the Independent National Electoral Commission for the 2027 polls.
