The Labour Party (LP) has said that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) should expect the wrath of God for deceiving Nigerians into believing that the Chibok girls were abducted by Boko Haram.
A statement released by the National Chairman of the party, Abdulkadir Abdulsalami claimed that the ruling APC stage-managed the kidnapping of the girls to dent the image of the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
“The government should expect the wrath of God for deceiving Nigerians and manipulating the parents of the Chibok girls. The release of the Chibok girls is a fluke and an ordinary abracadabra,” Abdulsalami said.
“By the time we get to May 29 next year, they will now release all the remaining girls to say they have fought the war, they have won the war,” he added.
He further stated that the suffering of Nigerians have been worsened by the programmes of the current administration, adding that the worse should be expected from the government if President Muhammadu Buhari does not vacate office and let a responsible government take over.
