Former Prime Minister of Libya, Ali Zeidan was on Sunday kidnapped by unknown gunmen at a hotel in central Tripoli, the country’s capital.
Local Libyan media report that the Police in the country have already commenced investigations to unmask the perpetrators of the act which has been widely condemned.
This is however not the first time Zeidan would be abducted. In 2013, he was kidnapped by members of the Libyan Revolutionary Operations Room few hours after he was inaugurated as Prime Minister.
