Former Super Eagles of Nigeria international, Peter Osaze Odemwingie has decided to choose a career in golf after putting an end to his professional career as a soccer player.
The 38-year-old Odemwingie who last featured for Nigeria at the 2014 FIFA World Cup is set to become a pro golfer after he took to social media to announce his membership of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA).
According to a series of posts he tweeted on Sunday, he has also been given a slot for training at the University of Birmingham foundation degree programme in professional golf.
During his stint with the Super Eagles, Odemwingie scored a total of 10 goals in 63 appearances, his last coming in the 1-0 win against Bosnia in a group game at the 2014 World Cup.
