The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria has risen with the addition of 86 new ones. The current number of confirmed cases nationwide now stands at 627.
This was disclosed via the official twitter handle of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) as follows:
Eighty-six new cases of #COVID19 have been reported;
70 in Lagos
7 in FCT
3 in Katsina
3 in Akwa Ibom
1 in Jigawa
1 in Bauchi
1 in BornoAs at 11:50 pm 19th April there are 627 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.

A breakdown of the 86 cases show that 70 of the new cases are in Lagos, 7 in FCT 3 in Katsina 3 in Akwa Ibom 1 in Jigawa 1 in Bauchi and 1 in Borno.
