A total of eight new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been recorded in the country, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 232.
This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its offficial twitter handle.

Thirty three of the confirmed cases have been discharged as they have fully recovered. Five deaths have been recorded.
