The Supreme Court in Abuja on Tuesday adjourned hearing on the appeal seeking a review of it’s verdict on the last governorship election in Zamfara State. The hearing was adjourned to March 2, 2020.
The adjournment is to enable the court serve all parties involved in the case the processes.
Chief Justice of Nigeria, Muhammed Tanko, while granting the application for adjournment by counsel to the respondents, Robert Clark (SAN) said some of the parties in the matter were not in court and that they were not served necessary processes going by the record of the court.
The Supreme Court in May 2019 sacked all elected candidates of the APC in Zamfara for not holding credible primaries for the 2019 general elections.
