Dr. (Mrs.) Oluwakemi Olua is the Hospital Director and Chief Operating Officer of Cedarcare Hospital, Lagos. With over two decades of  experience in healthcare management, she has significantly contributed to enhancing healthcare services in both the United Kingdom and Nigeria, earning her recognition as a leading light in the field.

Dr. Olua holds a first degree in Business Administration (BA) from London Metropolitan University, UK. She also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Hospital Management. Further broadening her expertise, she was awarded an honorary doctorate in Artificial Intelligence (AI) by Omniversity Imperial College, Missouri, USA, in May 2025, and an honorary Ph.D. in Business Administration by Prowess University, Delaware, USA, in July 2025.

Dr. Olua is a seasoned property portfolio investor in the United Kingdom and Nigeria. She owns and operates three property businesses in the UK—Kemron Limited, Thames Property Management Limited and Kalkem Property Services—and has done so since 2005.

She has vast experience in managing reputable health organizations, such as Mckemna Healthcare in the UK. As the Chief Executive Officer of Mckemna Healthcare, she was responsible for delivering high-quality services to various clients, including the British Police, UK Border Force, Her Majesty’s Courts, National Health Service (NHS) and other independent hospitals in the United Kingdom. Dr. Olua is also the co-founder of Cedarcare Foundation, a charity that provides funds for free medical care, health education, and psychiatric consultations for the less privileged in Nigeria.

After spending 24 years in the UK, Dr. Oluwakemi Olua returned to Nigeria in 2019 to establish Cedarcare Hospital, where she continues to lead as Hospital Director and Chief Operating Officer.
