Imo State Governor and Chairman of the All Progressives Congress  Governors’ Forum, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has assured President Muhammadu Buhari that no governor will defect from the ruling party anymore.

Okorocha gave the assurance at the end of a closed door meeting between President Buhari and governors elected under the platform of the APC which was at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday night.

Briefing State House correspondents on the outcome of the meeting, Okorocha said they deliberated on the recent defection of two of their colleagues – Abdulfattah Ahmed of Kwara State and Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto.
