
The Lagos State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Jimi Agbaje has picked Mrs. Yemisi Haleemat Busari as his running mate for the 2019 gubernatorial election in the state.
Agbaje, who made the announcement on Thursday via his Twitter handle called on all Lagosians to join him in welcoming Mrs. Busari as the next Deputy Governor of Lagos State.
Born in 1964, Mrs. Busari who hails from Epe is a renowned businessman and Vice President of Jamatul Islamiyya of Nigeria.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University Of Ilorin as well as a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
She was a director in Zain Nigeria Ltd (now Airtel Nigeria) and currently a serving director in First Bank, Sierra Leone. She is also the Secretary/Head of Legal Services at Honeywell Flour Mill Plc.
