Arsenal have been crowned Premier League champions for the 2025–26 season, ending a 22-year wait for the English top-flight title after Manchester City were held to a 1–1 draw by Bournemouth.

Mikel Arteta’s side secured the title after maintaining a strong position at the top of the table for most of the season, ultimately making it mathematically impossible for City to catch them. The result confirms Arsenal’s 14th league title and their first since the historic “Invincibles” triumph in 2003–04.

The decisive moment came after Arsenal’s 1–0 victory over Burnley, which left Manchester City needing a win to extend the title race to the final day. However, City’s draw confirmed Arsenal as champions with one match still to play.

The victory also marks Arsenal’s first major trophy in six years and ends a run of three consecutive seasons finishing as Premier League runners-up. It represents a significant milestone in Arteta’s rebuild at the Emirates Stadium.

Celebrations erupted among supporters in North London and at the club’s training ground, while congratulatory messages poured in for the squad and coaching staff.

Arsenal now turn attention to their remaining fixture and a Champions League final, with the club chasing a historic double in what has already become a landmark season.
