Multiple Grammy, Academy and Golden Globe Award winning singer, Adele and her husband, Simon Konecki have separated after only than seven years together.

According to the 30-year- old pop singer’s representatives, Adele who is one of the world’s best-selling music artistes and the 45-year-old Konecki, the CEO of a charity known as Drop4Drop are however committed to raising their only son together.

“Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment,” the singer’s representatives, Benny Tarantini and Carl Fysh said in a statement.
