His career which spans over 17 years  has been dedicated to safeguarding critical assets and driving innovation across Nigeria’s financial and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer & Data Privacy Officer at Interswitch Limited, he provides crucial assurance to senior executives and board members that their organizations are protected from sophisticated threats, ensuring cybersecurity programs align perfectly with overall business strategies.

Mr. Oduah’s professional mastery is validated by an extensive list of top-tier, globally recognized certifications. These credentials encompass the entire spectrum of digital defense and management, including Chief Information Security Officer (EC-Council C|CISO), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified Information Security Manager (ISACA CISM). Further solidifying his expertise are certifications such as Data Protection Officer (CDPO), Payment Card Industry Internal Security Assessor (PCI SSC – PCI ISA), ISO27001 Lead Implementer & Lead Auditor, and ISO31000 Senior Lead Risk Manager. Prior to his current role at Interswitch, Mr. Oduah served as Manager of the Cyber Security Operations Centre at the same firm, where he supervised threat hunting and intelligence. He held key roles at Access Bank Plc and Unity Bank Plc, including Team Lead for Cyber Security Operations/Data Protection Officer. His tenure at Diamond Bank Plc as Cybersecurity Incident Response/SOC Manager/Data Protection Officer saw him lead critical certifications for ISMS, PCIDSS, and ISO22301. His early career at Fidelity Bank Plc provided a comprehensive grounding in IT and ATM support, which ultimately fueled his specialized expertise in information security.

Mr. Oduah’s impact is evidenced by a robust record of technical and strategic achievements throughout his career: he received a Letter of Commendation from the MD/CEO of Fidelity Bank Plc for the successful certification of the bank to the ISO27001 information security standard, a project where he served as a key implementation team member. He successfully led the implementation and certification of Diamond Bank Plc to both the ISO27001 standard and the PCI DSS Standard. He also oversaw the successful deployment of Biometric access devices to all floors of Fidelity Bank PLC Head office extensions, the deployment of Symantec File and Whole disc Encryption for identified staff, and the successful redesign of Access Bank’s Cyber SOC operations. Additionally, he successfully deployed managed security services for both Diamond Bank Plc and Interswitch Limited respectively.
