Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has cautioned the newly elected National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to exercise restraint in his utterances as they were capable of heating up the polity.
Fielding questions from journalists at the second 2018 media interaction on Wednesday, Okowa said the alleged remarks by the new APC helmsman that his emergence would mark the end of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was unguided.
He urged politicians in the country to be cautious in their choice of words and be decent in their approach to issues of national interest as activities towards the 2019 general elections gather momentum.
“I believe that Comrade Oshiomhole is playing politics just as PDP has a right to play politics as well as any other political party. The only advice I have for all politicians both in PDP and APC is that there must be decorum,” Okowa said.
