Prince Mustapha Mona Audu, a son of the late former governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu has formally declared his intention to contest in the governorship election of the state scheduled to hold in November this year.
Mustapha, who made his intention public in Lokoja, the state capital on Wednesday said he would be contesting in the election on the platform of Young Progressives Party (YPP).
He said he decided to join the Kogi State governorship race to bring about a revolution and salvage the state from suffering, hunger, poverty, non-payment of salaries, hardship-induced suicides and deaths.
Mustapha stressed that if elected, he would build on the good legacies of good governance and development bequeathed by his late father He urged youths in the state to join hands with him to make the dream a reality.
